Residence Life hosted Welcome Socials for First-Gen, AFAM, Aggie Familia, and APIDA students to ease their transition to college and on-campus living. Heavy hors d'oeuvres were provided while students connected with various campus resources, faculty, staff, and peers. The department's First-Gen Welcome Social saw record participation, with close to 200 students attending.
We currently have 11,100 students on-campus (Residence Life & Corps of Cadets) with an occupancy rate over 98% again for this Fall semester. Additionally, fall 2023/2024 application for on-campus housing went live on 9.15.22, as we anticipate we will have over 10,000 new housing/freshmen applications for next school year. Aggies Live On!
