Research Experience for Undergraduates
Thank you for considering Texas A&M Residence Life for your REU housing needs during the summer of 2025.
We will be accommodating REU participants from May 23, 2025, until August 8, 2025. Please review the information below for details on rates and hall locations for the summer term.
Eligibility
To be eligible to utilize on-campus housing at Texas A&M University, the REU must be sponsored by a Texas A&M University department.

Contracts
We will provide each REU with a Housing Contract that details your stay.
Contracts must be fully signed and submitted to Conference & Guest Services a minimum of 30 days prior to the first day of the REU to avoid cancellation of housing.
Summer 2025 REU Housing

REU participants will be accommodated in Fowler, Hughes, and Schumacher Halls (Balcony Halls) located on the Northside of campus. These suite-style halls offer each participant a single bedroom, which may contain double furniture, and a shared bathroom. The bathroom will be shared with another individual of the same gender, who may be from a different REU group.
Hughes Hall is a Balcony style residence hall located on the northside of campus with both single and double rooms equipped with twin beds, in-room vanities, and suite style bathrooms. The halls also feature a community kitchen, laundry facilities, TV lounge, water bottle refilling stations, and study rooms for residents.

Additional Information
Billing Account Numbers
Sponsoring departments for each REU must provide us with a 13-digit AR or IDT account number. Refer to the Texas A&M University’s Standard Administrative Procedure 24.01.06.M0.01: Camps and Program for Minors: Section 4: Payments for a detailed outline of the payment process.
Cancelations
If housing is cancelled less than thirty (30) days prior to the starting date, the sponsoring organization will be charged 50% of the rate for one night’s lodging for the total number of beds reserved.

Please work with Aggie Dining regarding any meal plan options.
Transportation and Parking
Please work with Transportation Services regarding parking options.
MicroChill Rental
Texas A&M partners with College Products to offer MicroChill rentals. The MicroChill will be moved in and out for you!
