Reservation
Thank you for considering Texas A&M Residence Life for your REU housing needs during the summer of 2026. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accept REU reservations because we have reached capacity.
- Eligibility
- To be eligible to utilize on-campus housing at Texas A&M University, the REU must be sponsored by a Texas A&M University department. Contact Conference & Guest Services at: [email protected] to learn more.
- Contracts
- We will provide each REU with a Housing Contract that details your stay. Contracts must be fully signed and submitted to Conference & Guest Services a minimum of 30 days prior to the first day of the REU to avoid cancellation of housing.

REU participants will be accommodated in Fowler, Hughes and Schumacher Halls (Balcony Halls) located on the north side of campus. These suite-style halls offer each participant a single bedroom, which may contain double furniture, and a shared bathroom. The bathroom will be shared with another individual of the same gender, who may be from a different REU group.
A Balcony style residence hall located on the north side of campus with both single and double rooms equipped with twin beds, in-room vanities and suite style bathrooms. The halls also feature a community kitchen, laundry facilities, TV lounge water bottle refilling stations and study rooms for residents.

- Standard Furniture
- Cable
- Card Access Security
- Campus security officers
- Bathroom cleaning
- All utilities included
Additional Information
Billing Account Numbers
Sponsoring departments for each REU must provide us with a 13-digit AR or IDT account number.
Cancelations
If housing is cancelled less than thirty (30) days prior to the starting date, the sponsoring organization will be charged 50% of the rate for one night’s lodging for the total number of beds reserved.
