Types of LLCs

Academic LLCs: Academic LLCs tend to either have a required/preferred major, required program, or common class. Each Academic LLC engages with collaborating faculty, has a dedicated living area, a common focus, collaborating staff, and committed Residence Life Staff.

Interest LLCs: Interest LLCs share a common focus, have dedicated collaborating staff, and committed Residence Life Staff; most have a dedicated living area. Some may have collaborating faculty or include a required class (usually a LLC-focused section of the A&M Freshmen Year Experience Course- Hullabaloo U).
