FACTION LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITY
FACTION is a Living Learning Community for first-year students experiencing college for the very first time – just like you. Access to campus resources and individualized support will assist you in transitioning from high school to college, focusing not only on your academic success but also on your emotional and social wellbeing. It’s so much easier to thrive and succeed at a large university when you are part of a small residential community geared toward enhancing your skills, work habits, and outlook.
FACTION is great fit for First-Generation Aggies because this LLC focuses on holistic support - from academics to emotional and social well-being to what happens after the college experience.
Learn from peer mentors and FACTION-specific sections of Hullabaloo U (a first-year experience university-required course for all freshmen). Have fun with your FACTION community members at various social gatherings, meals, special events, participating in community service, and so much more.
