summer application

During the summer, Texas A&M University offers students safe, convenient and affordable housing in Aggieland. Our residence halls and apartments are located in some of the most favorable locations on campus, with easy access to programs and services Texas A&M University has to offer over the summer.
Please refer to our Before You Apply page for helpful information before starting your online housing application, then follow the steps below.
If you have questions navigating through the portal or you believe there is an error, please contact us at 888.451.3896.
Residence Halls & White Creek Apartments Steps
To begin, log into myHousing Portal using your NetID and password, click on Housing Applications, and select the Summer 1, Summer 2, or Summer 1&2 term.
You will sign the contract, provide your housing preferences, and fill out a lifestyle questionnaire. We encourage you to take a look at all we have to offer.
The Housing Assignments Office does room assignments on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, you will be assigned in the order in which your application was completed. Please know that your preference does not guarantee your desired housing style will be available at the time you are issued a housing assignment. However, we will do our best to match your preferences throughout our process.
You will receive your assignment via email before the Summer terms start, typically the first week of May for anyone living on campus for Summer 1. Summer session 2 assignments will be emailed out in mid-June before the beginning of the semester. For students already living at White Creek Apartments for the Spring semester, our goal is to keep you in your same apartment for the summer sessions.
What does it mean to live on campus? Well, it’s a lot more than having a place to sleep. It’s your home while you’re here. The place where you hang out with friends, talk to your roommates, study, kick back, relax, store your stuff, sleep and eat. It’s your own space.
On-campus living has a lot of built-in resources and staff to support you during your time at Texas A&M. We are a dynamic community with our own standards and rules.
For that reason, we ask all students living in our on-campus communities to complete the Annual Housing Orientation, which will appear as a menu item in myHousing Portal after you have confirmed your room reservation.
You will need to have completed this orientation in order to receive your key upon check-in. Check your Texas A&M email in late December to early January for specific instructions.

We are excited that you will be living on campus during the summer term at Texas A&M University – College Station! All on-campus residents must schedule a move-in appointment. This enables us to make sure everything is ready for your arrival. Choose a day and time for your arrival within myHousing Portal after you complete the Annual Housing Orientation.
Information about move-in, what to bring, what not to bring, rates, important dates, and parking maps are available on our Move-In Information page. Don’t forget to check your Texas A&M email frequently, so you don’t miss important emails – such as more detailed instructions for move-in based on your apartment or hall. If you have any questions before arriving on campus, please get in touch with the appropriate office. We will see you in Aggieland!
