Schumacher Hall
Schuhmacher Hall is a balcony-style residence hall located on the Northside of campus and offers single and double rooms with suite-style bathrooms, assigned as single gender by suite. The hall features 84 rooms across four floors and provides a variety of living options, including apartment-style arrangements. Residents have access to study rooms, TV lounges, and a community kitchen. Conveniently situated near the Northside Garage, Hullabaloo Starbucks, and Sbisa Dining Hall, Schuhmacher Hall also includes recent renovations such as new solid-surface sinks, countertops, mirrors, and window blinds throughout all student rooms.

Hall Namesake
Schuhmacher Hall is named after Henry C. Schuhmacher of Houston, Texas, and was constructed in 1964. Mr. Schuhmacher is head of a wholesale grocery business bearing his name. He became a member of the Board of Director of Texas A&M University in 1925 and died in 2002. Mr. Schuhmacher also served a member of the Board Committees on Auditing and Finances and as a member of the executive committee.
