Whiteley Hall (Dorm 9)

Whiteley Hall is a Corps-style residence hall located on the Southside of campus and offers double-occupancy rooms with community bathrooms, assigned as coed by room. The hall is named in honor of Eli L. Whiteley, Class of 1941, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his service in World War II. Residence Life (non‑Corps) students who live in Whiteley Hall will share the building with Corps residents and will be housed on the third and fourth floors only.

Hall Namesake

Whiteley Hall is named after Eli L. Whiteley, ’41, and was constructed in 1939. He received a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture while attending Texas A&M. Mr. Whiteley was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic service in World War II.
