HONORS HOUSING COMMUNITY
Prior to Fall 2025, first-year students in the University Honors Program were required to live in the Honors Housing Community (HHC) in Lechner and McFadden Halls; since Fall 2025, this has been optional. Peer Mentors—Sophomore and Junior Advisors—live alongside freshmen, offering guidance and hosting events such as the Halloween-themed Murder Mystery and the professional‑focused Cheers to Careers. By the end of the year, students report a stronger sense of community and greater clarity about their goals and values. Only students in the University Honors Program are eligible to live in the HHC, though they may also participate in other honors programs simultaneously.
