Self-Service Portal gives applicants easy access to apply for on campus housing.
As part of the Department of Residence Life’s goal to enhance customer service, it launched an online service tool for housing applicants and current residents on September 20th, 2016.
The service portal utilizes a new software system purchased by the department called StarRez. StarRez is a comprehensive student housing solution including: online housing applications, online roommate and room self selection, core staff administrative functions such as billing, reporting, email, and mail merge, as well as, complete integration with other campus systems.
Once applicants have NetID credentials on the self-service portal, they can view their current application status and, if applicable, they can also view their waiting list status, pay their deposit, apply for student employment with the Department and more.
To access the page, new 2017-2018 year applicants can go to myHousing Portal. Those applying for housing for the first time can click on “Housing Applications” tab and once they have applied they can register on the self-service portal to monitor the status of their application.
