SUMMER HOUSING
We are very excited you will be staying with us in Aggieland this summer! Whether you are new to college life or just continuing your studies during the summer, we want to help make your experience as smooth as possible. During the summer, Texas A&M University offers safe, convenient, and affordable on-campus housing for all enrolled students at our on-campus White Creek Apartments.
Summer Housing Steps
To live on campus, you must be enrolled at Texas A&M University – College Station.
Step 1 Apply for Housing
Choose from the three different applications for summer housing based on when you'd like to live on campus:
-
- Summer 1
- Summer 1&2 – full summer
- Summer 2 (Students in the Gateway program will need to apply for Summer 2)
Step 2: Receive Your Assignment
The Housing Assignments Office does housing assignments on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, you will be assigned in the order in which your application was completed. You will receive your assignment via email before the Summer terms start, typically the first week of May for anyone living on campus for Summer 1. Summer session two assignments will be emailed out in mid-June before the beginning of the semester.
For students already living at White Creek Apartments for the Spring semester, our goal is to keep you in your same apartment for the summer sessions.
Step 3: Complete Annual Housing Orientation and Schedule Move-In Appointment
Before you move in, you will need to complete an online Housing Orientation to familiarize yourself with the student handbook and on-campus housing policies. This orientation will become available to you before move in, and notification of its availability will be sent to you via email, and you'll complete it on your myHousing Portal.
To ensure everything is ready for your arrival, choose a day and time to move in at myHousing Portal after completing the Annual Housing Orientation. Remember that if you arrive before the published move-in dates, you may be charged a daily fee for your early arrival.
Step 4: Move-In
Information about move-in, what to bring, what not to bring, rates, important dates, and parking maps are available on our Summer Move-In Information page. If you have any questions before you arrive on campus, please contact the appropriate office. We will see you in Aggieland!
Step 5: Payment
Payment for the summer will be posted to the student's account by Student Business Services.
