About the Namesake
Underwood Hall is named after Ammon Underwood ’07 and was constructed in 1981. Mr. Underwood received his degree in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Underwood donated $1 million of real estate to the University. Eventually, the University received the rest of his estate. Mr. Underwood worked with British East Africa Ltd., the Federal Land Bank and the Farm Credit Administration during his career.
