About the Namesake
Haas Hall is named after Richard E. “Dick” Haas ’47 and was constructed in 1979. Mr. Haas is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Haas is well known not only because of his business success, but because of his generous support of Texas A&M. He is a leading independent oil and gas operator, owns a pipeline company and land cattle company.
