About the Namesake

Harrell Hall is named after William G. Harrell, who attended Texas A&M from 1939 to 1941. It was constructed in 1939. Mr. Harrell left the university to serve in World War II and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic service in World War II.
