Opening and Closing Schedules for Summer 2021:

The opening and closing schedules for all “pay by semester properties” (residence halls, Corps of Cadet halls, and University Apartments – White Creek Apartments) are based upon the academic calendar proposed by the Office of the Registrar. Not all dates may be applicable for the pay-by-the month property at the University Apartments – the Gardens. All dates are subject to change based upon subsequent changes to the academic calendar:

Summer I 2021:

Saturday, May 15th 9:00 a.m. – White Creek Apts open (current on-campus residents only)*
Friday, May 28th and Monday, May 31st (Memorial Day) – University Holiday
Saturday, May 29th 9:00 a.m. – White Creek Apts open (new residents only)
Tuesday, June 1st – Classes begin Tuesday
Monday, July 5th 5:00 p.m. – Residence Halls and White Creek Apts close Monday**

*Residence Life no longer offers Interim Housing between Spring semester/Summer Session I. Current residents move directly into their summer assignment. All White Creek and Gardens Apartment move-ins are done “by appointment only”
**Residents who will be attending Summer Session II and remaining on-campus, do not move out at the end of summer session I

Summer Session II & Gateway 2021:

Monday, July 5th 10:00 a.m – White Creek Apts open
Tuesday, July 6th – Classes begin
Saturday, July 31st 12:00 p.m. (noon) – End of 12 month leases for Gardens Apts**
Saturday, August 14th 12:00 p.m. (noon) – White Creek Apts close*

* All students should be checked out 24 hours after their last exam. Residence Life no longer offers Interim Housing between Summer and Fall, Residence Life and Corps students move directly to their Fall assignment (starting on Wednesday, Aug 11th)
** For graduating students only. All other students should be checked out 24 hours after their last exam or no later than by Saturday, Aug 14th
