Texas A&M Student Services Building Update

A small electrical fire on Saturday morning on the second floor of the Student Services Building (SSB) caused the fire suppression system to activate. Although the fire was isolated to the second floor, both the northeast portion of the first and second floors of the building received varying degrees of water damage.

We encourage you to please avoid entering the SSB on Monday, Aug. 17, if you do not have pertinent business, so crews can continue to evaluate and mitigate the damage on the first and second floors.

In addition, The Housing Assignments staff will be working remotely Monday, Aug. 17. The office will reopen on Tuesday, Aug. 18, in room 105 at Hullabaloo Hall. Please call 979-845-4744 or email [email protected] if you need assistance. More information: reslife.tamu.edu/contact
