Residents who prefer local landline phone service in their room or apartment may request installation of the service by selecting Connect Landline Telephone Service below.
For students who pay their rent by the semester, the cost for local landline telephone service is $90 for the Fall and Spring semesters, or $45 for either the Spring semester or the Summer. For students who pay their rent by the month, the cost is $10/month. Once the service is connected, the full amount of the payment is non-refundable.
A request to connect can only be cancelled prior to the student arriving on campus. The student will need to select Cancel Request to Connect/Change Landline Telephone Service below as soon as they determine that phone service is no longer desired to avoid charges.
Residents changing rooms or apartments will need to select Change Existing Landline Telephone Service below. There is no cost for the change. Residents should submit this form as soon as their move date is confirmed to ensure uninterrupted service.
Residents who pay rent by the semester do not need to disconnect their landline telephone service. Phone service will automatically be disconnected in May for Fall/Spring or Spring only requests and in August for Summer requests unless a new Connect Landline Telephone Service is submitted by the resident for the next term. Telephone service cannot be disconnected in the middle of a semester, and no refunds will be given if a student moves out of the room/apartment or withdraws from school during the middle of a semester.
Residents who pay rent by the month will need to select Disconnect Landline Telephone Service below when phone service is no longer desired.

By clicking Submit below, I am requesting to have landline telephone service connected in my on-campus student room/apartment, agree to pay for the landline telephone service in my on-campus student room/apartment, and agree to be billed for the full amount of the service. I understand that rates are not prorated. If service is connected in the middle of a contract term, I am responsible for the full amount for that contract term. For students who pay their rent by the semester, the cost for local landline telephone service is $90 for the Fall and Spring semesters, or $45 for either the Spring semester or the Summer billed to your TAMU student account. For students who pay their rent by the month, the cost is $10/month billed with your monthly rent and electric. Further, I understand that once payment is received by the University and the landline telephone service is activated, the full amount of the payment is non-refundable.
By clicking Submit below, I am requesting the landline telephone service in my current room/apartment be changed to my newly assigned room/apartment. I understand the change of the landline telephone service will be conducted at no cost to me unless I provide inaccurate information about my newly assigned room/apartment which results in changing the landline telephone service to the wrong room/apartment. In the event I provide inaccurate information resulting in such an improper change of the landline telephone service, I understand I will be billed for the additional work incurred by the University.
I am asking that my previous request to connect or change landline telephone service be cancelled. I understand that if my previous request to connect or change telephone service has already been processed, then I CANNOT cancel the request and I will be billed for all fees associated with my initial request to connect or change telephone service.
By clicking Submit below, I am requesting that my current landline telephone service be disconnected on the date requested. I understand that if my disconnect date is in the middle of the month, I will still be billed for the entire month.
