Late Stay

Late stay is defined as when a resident would like to checkout/move out of on-campus housing later than the posted checkout/move-out date.

Residents in residence halls and White Creek Apartments will be allowed to stay until the closing dates and times shown in the Events Calendar. No exceptions will be made.

Corps of Cadets residents can submit requests for late stay/late departure online by logging in to myHousing Portal with your NetID and password. They will be notified of approval or denial of their request shortly after submission.

Gardens Apartments residents are expected to check out on or before the move-out date within the contract. Exceptions are determined on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability of the apartment/unit. Requests for late stay can be emailed to university-apartments@housing.tamu.edu along with resident’s name, UIN, and the reason for the late departure.
