In the Community Center, we have a computer lab and recreation room.  There are eight computers in the computer lab.  Residents can access the computer lab for educational research and personal usage.  Daily newspapers (The Eagle, The New York Times and The Houston Chronicle) are available as a reference for residents to review local and national current events.  Please note the daily newspapers must remain in the computer lab for all resident to have access to them.

The recreation room contains a toddler’s play area, a television and a movie lending library and a variety of magazines for residents to use. In addition the recreation room is intended to be a place for residents to come to on a daily basis - to access the play room, watch television, check out movies or talk quietly amongst friends.

In order to ensure every resident has an opportunity to use the recreation room, the following regulations have been instituted. Please read them and pass them along to family members.

PARENTS - please ensure that your guests and all children know about the rules and regulations.

RECREATION ROOM USAGE

• Children under the age of 13 must be supervised at all times by a parent or caregiver when visiting the Community Center.

• No food or drink is allowed in the recreation room at any time.

• If anyone is found acting inappropriately in the recreation room or in the Community Center in general, we reserve the right to ask you to please leave the Community Center.

• Children MUST be supervised at all times. They should be within arms reach at all times, in all areas, of the Community Center.

COMPUTER USAGE

• The computers may be used in ½ hour increments.

• Adult resident students have priority using the computers.
