ResNet is a network supported by Texas A&M Computing and Information Services (CIS) that provides each residence hall with a high-speed ethernet connection to the campus computing environment.

The connection provides access to A&M computing resources such as email and the Internet. Computing and Information Services provides and maintains two RJ-45 ethernet connections in each residence hall room.

To connect a computer to ResNet, the student will need a 10/100 Base-T ethernet card installed in the computer and an RJ-45 ethernet cable.
