about 90 miles northwest of Houston. The university has a long standing history of student traditions and academic excellence. The average enrollment of 42,000 students includes men and women from nearly every state and over 50 other nations. The Department of Residence Life is one of thirteen departments in the
Division of Student Affairs
with the responsibility for 30 residence halls and 9,000 undergraduates living on campus and 650 university apartments for graduate, single parent or married undergraduate students. The department staff is comprised of a team of culturally diverse individuals who value and encourage respect, recognition, and unity.
