"Group Guests" is defined as a targeted group of underage (younger than 18 years of age) visitors to Texas A&M University, invited to campus by a recognized student organization or department on campus, with the intent to educate and/or encourage the visitors to attend Texas A&M in the future. For this visit, the recognized student organization is requesting that current Texas A&M students/residence hall residents act as hosts and house these visitors in the residence halls.
For reasons of safety and liability, Texas A&M University and the Department of Residence Life require that the following protocol be followed, before the Group Guests are allowed into the residence halls, and during their stay.

979.662.2946, http://camps.tamu.edu/ in order to register the scheduled visit as Camp. As part of this process, it should be specified that the visitors will be living in the residence halls, as guests of residing students.
- The Advisor or a representative for the recognized student organization must contact Mr. Rick Turnbough, Coordinator of Conference Services with Residence Life to request permission to have the Group Guests stay with residents in the residence halls. As part of this process, the following steps will be communicated:
- Mr. Rick Turnbough, Coordinator of Conference Services will provide the recognized student organization with a list of Residence Hall Policies. The organization will be required to provide copies of this policies list to each Group Guest and to each of the residence hall hosts.
- b. 48 hours prior to the event, the recognized student organization must provide Conference Services with a list of (1) host names (2) host’s residence hall and room number, and (3) names of individual guest assignments. Residence Life requires that no more than two guests be assigned to a residence hall room, with the exception of the balcony-style residence halls where only one guest per room be allowed. Copies of these lists will be sent to each of the Residence Life Hall Directors.
