Regardless of their age, residents who live on substance free floors will not possess or use alcohol, tobacco or other illegal drugs on the floor and will not return to the floor under the influence of any of these substances. We know that many students already choose a substance free lifestyle and would enjoy living in communities that support these choices. We believe that residents will create an environment that not only supports this choice, but also reduces their exposure to the secondary effects of alcohol abuse such as disruption of sleep or study.
