History - Wells Hall

Wells Hall is named after Clyde H. Wells and was constructed in 1989. Mr. Wells died in 1987. He was a rancher and a member of the Class of '38. He served as a member of the A&M System Board of Regents for nearly a quarter of a century including twelve years as Chair of the Board. In 1967, Mr. Wells was named "Man of the Year in Texas Agriculture" by the Texas County Agricultural Agents Association. He was active in land development and banking.
