History - Fowler Hall

Fowler Hall is named after Thomas W. Fowler and was constructed in 1964. Mr. Fowler entered Texas A&M University in 1939 and received a bachelors of science degree in 1943. He was killed on June 3, 1944 while leading a tank platoon in the drove on Rome, Italy. He was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for gallantry in action at Carano, Italy, on May 23, 1944.
