Dunn Hall is named after J. Harold Dunn and was constructed in 1972. Mr. Dunn is a member of the Class of '25. During his collegiate years, he served as a student leader undertaking a tough curriculum and working a day-and-night routine. After leaving Texas A&M in 1925, Mr. Dunn went into the business industry where he made his way through the ranks to the top. He transformed Shamrock Oil and Gas Company from a company running in the red to a sound and distinguished corporation known as the Diamond-Shamrock Corporation.
