Housing Changes for Fall 2009
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

18. Why was Moses converted to a coed incoming freshmen hall?

Moses Hall was converted to an incoming freshmen living learning community in 2007. This living learning community is in support of the university goals of improving the freshmen year experience at Texas A&M University. There are study rooms and a room for academic tutoring, as well as programming focused on helping new incoming freshmen be more successful academically. It is our intention that this successful program will be used in other halls in the near future. Since Moses has community bathrooms, all bathrooms have locks that are keyed to their floor. Therefore, females do not have key access to the male bathrooms and males do not key access to the female bathrooms.
