13. Why have you put double beds in a building that is all single rooms? If only one person can be assigned to the room, why is there a need for double beds?

Most students today come from homes where they have a room to themselves and have a double or queen size bed, not twin. Off campus housing competition are now offering double beds and the Department of Residence Life sees offering double beds as another amenity to halls that are currently under utilized because of lack of students willing to live in a community style residence hall. Student in Davis-Gary are very happy with the double beds and see it as a positive amenity to living in that hall.
