8. Why coed on the same floor, isn't this something new?

No. Hobby Hall operated this way beginning fall 2006 and was very successful. The Corps and the U.S. military has been housing women and men together for many years. It has also been done during summer school in previous years. It allows more flexibility for housing programs such as the living learning communities. It also allows more flexibility for assignments if one year there is a higher number of one gender or the other. It also offers a more "real world" living experience that is compatible with what most of today’s students expect.
