3. What if both roommates want local telephone service?

Each student room includes only one (1) standard telephone jack/outlet. Therefore, only one (1) local telephone service number can be assigned to a room.

Since local telephone service is subscription based, and billed directly to a student’s TAMU account, only one student may subscribe to the one phone number available in the room. If both students want to use the local telephone service, the students will need to come to an individual understanding and agreement regarding usage of the telephone service and any sharing of subscription costs.
