14. Can I make long distance calls from my room?

Beginning Fall 2008, telephone service in each room has been discontinued. Each residence hall will have at least one public hallway "land line" phone located on each floor to be used for on campus calls and for emergencies. Students may make "collect" phone calls or long distance calls from this phone as long as they have a long distance phone card. If a student would like a separate phone in their rooms, they may do so at an additional cost.
