9. What if my roommate and I don't get along?

Living with a new person is a great opportunity to learn more about others. Roommates are responsible for resolving their differences. If conflict develops, students should ask their RA or HD/GHD/AHD to sit in on the discussion and attempt to resolve the conflict. Trained mediators may also be requested to help resolve conflicts. Students should see their HD to request a mediator. Relocation of residents will only be considered as the very last resort.
