ABOUT US
The Facilities & Operations Office, located in the A-1 Lounge, is responsible for the oversight of all civilian and Corps residence halls as well the University apartments. Prepares five year maintenance and renovation plans for the buildings; including addressing deferred maintenance. Oversees construction and renovation projects and is the liaison with Compass/SSC Service Solutions (a private outsourced company hired by the University to provide maintenance, custodial and landscaping services) to ensure quality and timely repairs and cleaning of Residence Life facilities.
Facilities & Operations also acts as liaison with Micro 101 who provides microwave/refrigerator rental and sales to residents of the residence halls. Additionally, Facilities & Operations coordinates landline telephone rentals, the fire alarm/detection systems and furniture purchases for all residence halls and apartments.
